Speaker Candidate Ryan Smith’s Campaign Finances are Fishy

Ryan Smith has only
had one real contested race for election, the 2012 primary that he narrowly
won. He didn’t raise a lot of money for that race either.
But his fundraising
would change when he was appointed to the House Finance Committee in 2013 and
he began to attend the annual Winter Warmer fundraisers hosted in Florida by
Virginia “Ginni” Ragan.
